Mr. Rosica was appointed our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President in February 2018. Prior to being appointed our CEO and President, Mr. Rosica served as our President. He joined our company as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations in January 2013. In January 2016, Mr. Rosica was appointed Senior Vice President, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer and, in December 2016, was appointed President. From early 2002 until joining us, Mr. Rosica served in various capacities with Grass Valley, LLC, a broadcast equipment supplier, most recently as Executive Vice President, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. Prior to that, Mr. Rosica was Vice President and General Manager of Phillips Broadcast from 1996. Mr. Rosica has served as a member of our board of directors since March 2018.

Kenneth L. Gayron joined our company as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President in May 2018. Mr. Gayron most recently served as CFO and interim CEO for Numerex Corporation, a single source, leading provider of managed enterprise solutions enabling the Internet of Things. Prior to his tenure with Numerex, Mr. Gayron served as CFO of Osmotica Pharmaceutical Corp.

Kevin brings unique expertise to the leadership team with specific experience in SaaS and subscription business and delivery models as well as cloud architectures. Kevin is responsible for Avid’s technology vision and innovation strategy and is helping to steer the company’s top-to-bottom technology strategy to support its digital transformation. Kevin has more than 25 years of experience anticipating and capitalizing on technology inflection points. He most recently served as CTO and EVP of Advanced R&D at Ribbon Communications. 

Mr. Ruzicka has a rich history with Avid and more than 25 years of extensive product management, business development, and marketing experience in the media industry. He leads the company’s software and hardware engineering team as well as directs the program management, product management, solutions marketing and alliance partnerships functions. Mr. Ruzicka holds a Bachelor of Music Performance degree, with an emphasis in Sound Recording Technology, from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.

Tim is responsible for shaping Avid’s technology and product strategies. He originally joined Avid in 1998 as a Senior Product Manager for Pro Tools, designing many of the features that led to the 2004 Academy Award for Pro Tools. Tim was CTO when he left Avid in 2012 to work as an independent consultant and then as CTO at Quantel/ Snell Advanced Media. He rejoined Avid in 2016. Tim’s unique perspective on media technology stems from his career as an accomplished editor, sound designer and mixer. Tim worked at leading US post production facilities, working on many high-profile film and TV productions. Before working in Film and Television, Tim was a professional recording engineer and musician in Los Angeles.

Lior leads the strategy to further expand and grow Avid’s enterprise media platform portfolio and its overall cloud & SaaS business. He previously served as CTO for IoT and Mobile at Akamai, a leading cloud services provider. Lior has more than 25 years of experience in management, business development, engineering and sales of technologies including cloud, SaaS, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics and networking. 

Tom Cordiner has served as our Chief Revenue Officer and Senior Vice President since March 2019, prior to which he served as our Senior Vice President of Global Sales and our Vice President of International Sales. Tom originally joined Avid as our Vice President of Sales for the EMEA region in January 2012. Before joining Avid, Mr. Cordiner was Vice President, Sales and Business Development at Technicolor, responsible for the international markets in the broadcast, media and telecoms sectors.

KAM recently returned to Avid to establish a service strategy to further optimize customers’ and users’ experience and success with Avid tools and solutions. Previous roles with Avid included VP of Worldwide Professional Services and Director of Services for Asia Pacific. She has been a senior leader in the services and support organizations of several media technology providers including Adobe, Amdocs and Ericsson, and telecommunications operator Telstra.

Whit is responsible for Avid’s investor relations and corporate development activities. He joined Avid in late 2018. He has over 25 years of experience including 12 years doing M&A and corporate finance for technology clients at Deutsche Bank and an earlier stint as an R&D engineer at Teradyne developing test and automation equipment.
